Southside Worship Centre is a community oriented church that is affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.  We believe in both the proclamation and demonstration of the good news of Jesus Christ.  We are working together with many other churches in the Durham Region that share the same commitment to Jesus, to the work of God and to the essential doctrines of faith.

Who We Are 
SWC is a body of believers who exist to serve our Lord Jesus Christ, our community and one another. The church was established in 1988 and is affiliated with the Pentecostal Assemblies Of Canada (PAOC). The PAOC is a fellowship of over 1100 churches that currently support almost 200 missionaries around the world. We are a diverse group of different ages, and ethnic backgrounds and yet are purposefully brought together by the love of God.

What We Do 
Beyond our Sunday service there is a wide range of activities that are designed to benefit the entire family. There are numerous opportunities to serve in ways that best suit your giftings, abilities, personality, ministry and passion.  We also strive to meet the difficult social needs of our immediate community as we believe that the good news of Jesus affects how we live our lives and not just our new eternal position with God.

We provide safe child care! 
SWC values the entire family so we work hard to provide quality child care. All our workers are well trained and screened with police checks. We provide a full nursery and toddler area for your children to allow you to participate in the service.
